Dixville Notch Voting Room. <br />
Dixville Notch is a community of approximately 75 residents in upper New Hampshire. On the day of the Presidential Elections, all the eligible voters gather in this room at midnight and cast their ballots. The polls are closed one minute later and the results are broadcast nationwide. The voting room is located in The Balsams, one of very few Grand Hotels remaining, situated on a 15,000 acre plot accommodating golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter.
